October - Holiday Door Decorating Contest
Join our Annual Fall & Halloween Door Decorating Contest! Decorate your door with spooky Halloween chills or cozy autumn vibes. Get creative and show us what you've got this season! Photos will be taken on Oct 15th, and winners will receive gift card prizes: $100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd & 3rd place. Let's make this contest spooktacular!
October 25 - The Annual Scary-A-Faire
Mark your calendars for Upland’s most anticipated Halloween event of the year! The Annual Scary-A-Faire is returning to Historic Downtown Upland on Saturday, October 25, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., promising an evening of family-friendly fun and spooktacular activities.

Pumpkin cold brews, pastries fresh from our resident barista, and cozy gifts like Bath & Body Works candles set the scene for a perfect autumn gathering. With nearly 40 neighbors joining in, it was all about warm sips, sweet treats, and community vibes.

Meet the three dachshund brothers, Rocket, Peanut, and Rocky—the crazy crew that brings big energy to The Upland! Their play dates are a perfect mix of chaos and charm: While Peanut and Rocky run amok, sweet and stoic Rocket is the good protector who watches the fun. Get to know the pups: Peanut is the silly boy who flashes a smile and gives the best kisses. Rocky is the super-playful one who never passes up a walk. This fun, crazy bunch is a wonderful and much-loved addition to our community!

Kids' Night Out!: Kids In The Kitchen
Give your aspiring little chef the night off at Kid's Night Out: Kids In The Kitchen! Please note the date change: this hands-on cooking adventure is now on Saturday, October 11th, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Magnolia Recreation Center. Little chefs (ages 5–12) will learn safety tips and skills while making their own dinner, plus enjoy games, crafts, and a movie! It's just $30 per child ($20 for each additional sibling).
